# Add the product review widgets to your Shopify store

Review Collect adds three native blocks to your Shopify theme: **Product reviews** (block "Review Collect – Reviews list") and **Product star badge** (block "Review Collect – Star badge") on product pages, and the **All reviews page** (block "Review Collect – All reviews"). No code to paste, no key to configure: each block finds your Review Collect account from your store automatically.

Before you start: your Shopify store must be connected to Review Collect (see *Shopify Integration*) and Product Reviews must be enabled on your account.

## Add a block in one click from Review Collect

1. In Review Collect, open **Product Reviews → Widget**.
2. Click **Customize** on the widget you want, then open the **Install** tab.
3. Click **Add to theme**. Your Shopify theme editor opens with the block already added.
4. Move the block where you want it, then click **Save** in the theme editor.

The link that opens your theme editor looks like this (`your-store` is your myshopify subdomain):

## Or add a block from the Shopify theme editor

1. In Shopify, go to **Online Store → Themes → Customize**.
2. Open the **Products → Default product** template.
3. Click **Add block** (or **Add section**) and open the **Apps** tab.
4. Pick **Review Collect – Reviews list** (full list of reviews) or **Review Collect – Star badge** (rating and count, usually under the product title).
5. Drag the block where you want it, then click **Save**.

For the **All reviews page**: create a page in **Online Store → Pages**, open it in the theme editor, add the **Review Collect – All reviews** block, then save.

## What you will see

- A product that already has reviews shows them right away.
- A product with no review yet shows "This product has no reviews yet." The reviews appear as soon as your customers leave them.
- To change the layout, the number of reviews per page, the order or the photos, go back to **Product Reviews → Widget → Customize**. Colors, stars and corners follow your **Brand settings**.

## The block does not appear?

- Check that the store is connected to Review Collect (**Integrations → Shopify**).
- Your theme must support app blocks (Online Store 2.0 themes, such as Dawn or Horizon). On an older theme, use the code snippet shown in the **Install** tab instead.
- The badge only shows once the product has at least one review.
