# Share your Judge.me API key

To sync your product reviews with Judge.me, our team needs the private API key of your Judge.me account — here is how to retrieve it in two minutes.

## Open your Judge.me admin

1. From your Shopify admin, click **Apps**, then **Judge.me** to open the app.

*If you use Judge.me outside Shopify, log in directly on judge.me.*

## Retrieve your private API key

1. In the menu, open **Settings**, then the **Integrations** tab.
2. Click the **View API tokens** button in the top right corner.
3. On the **Private token** row, click **Show**, then copy the key.

*This key grants read/write access to your reviews: only share it with your Review Collect account manager.*

## Check that web reviews are enabled

Without this setting, Judge.me silently ignores reviews sent via API — no error is shown.

1. In **Settings**, open **Collection flow**.
2. Scroll down to the **Review collection** section.
3. Make sure the **Who can see a button to write reviews in widgets** option is **not** set to **No one**.

*If it is set to No one, select Everyone (no restrictions). If in doubt, send us a screenshot of the setting.*

## Send us your key

Send your Judge.me private API key to your Review Collect account manager.

We take care of the rest: your product reviews collected by Review Collect will automatically sync with Judge.me.
