Customize the Product reviews widget

The Product reviews widget shows every review of a product on its page, below the description. You set its layout and content from Review Collect, and the preview updates live.



Open the widget settings


  1. Go to Product Reviews → Widget
  2. On the Product reviews card, click Customize
  3. At the top of the Settings card, click Edit



Choose the layout


  • Layout — "Cards" (one card per review, the default), "Compact list" (the same content, tighter) or "Carousel" (reviews scroll horizontally)
  • Reviews per page — 5, 10 or 20. Beyond that, shoppers move to the next page.
  • Default order — "Most recent first", "Highest rating first" or "With photos first"
  • Header alignment — the average rating and the breakdown "Left" or "Centered"


Choose the content


  • Show rating breakdown — how many 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1-star reviews, as bars next to the average
  • Let shoppers filter reviews — by star rating and "with photos"
  • Show "Verified purchase" badge — on every review: they all come from real orders
  • Show customer photos — photos attached to reviews, opened full screen on click


Each review shows the customer's first name and initial ("Léa F."), the rating, the date and the comment, automatically translated into the store's language.


Save and check


  1. Click Save Changes
  2. Switch the preview to Mobile to check how it looks on a phone


Allow 5 to 10 minutes before you see the change on your store. Colors, stars and corner radius are set once for every widget, in the Brand settings: see Show your product reviews on your store: the widgets.
