Customize the Product star badge

The Product star badge shows a product's rating and review count right under its title. Two settings are all it takes.



Open the badge settings


  1. Go to Product Reviews → Widget
  2. On the Product star badge card, click Customize
  3. At the top of the Settings card, click Edit



Choose the display


  • Style — "Stars + score + review count" (the default), "Stars + review count" or "Stars only"
  • Scroll to reviews on click — when on, a click on the badge scrolls the page down to the Product reviews widget. That widget must be on the same page.


The badge only appears once the product has its first published review. With no review, nothing shows.


Save and check


  1. Click Save Changes
  2. Switch the preview to Mobile to check how it looks on a phone


Allow 5 to 10 minutes before you see the change on your store. The star color is set in the Brand settings: see Show your product reviews on your store: the widgets.
